Terry has a new job as a farm tractor. The farmer has Terry and another machine clear trees and brush from a stream where some friendly beavers live. The stream is full of curves and the machines work to make the stream “nice and straight.” Terry is very upset. He knows that draining the wetlands will cause problems, but the farmer will not listen to him.

When the land is cleared Terry plants a crop there, but the stream floods and washes away the soil every time a heavy rain occurs. The farmer cannot raise a crop on the land and finally realizes his mistake. Who will help the farmer and Terry return the stream to its original condition?
